Had really nice stay in winter. The room was upgraded to a privilege with free drinks and available with the bathroom, a couple of lounge chairs, as for instance.

Perfect and magnificent location for our visit to Old Town relatively close to the hotel. Found in a very comfortable area near to almost everything-transport, beach, shopping, restaurant, supermarket and the promenade, centre of town, and the railway station.

Delicious and sensational breakfast, lots of options available. The marvellous and lovely location for the price, near to railway station and seafront as well as ocean front, hop -on bus and great restaurants. Also, in the centre of Nice close to a pedestrianised area with a number of restaurants.

Convenient location between beach and train station. Walkable distance, saving money on transportation. Clean with a supermarket beneath and public parking nearby. Enjoyed the rooftop terrace with sun loungers. Friendly and helpful staff, accommodating requests for room amenities and complimentary drinks. Great self-service breakfast. Smashing location near the sea and vibrant squares for dining and entertainment. Highly recommended stay.

Good hotel located close to all Nice has to offer.

A special treat was the sun terrace on the roof - complete with sun beds, umbrellas, toilets, tables. Ideal to sunbathe in the morning (it was very hot in Nice last week) and to enjoy a drink before going out for dinner.Breakfast was very good, a full range of food including hot dishes.

No complaints, it was everything a three star hotel should be and more

The hotel has a great location with easy access to public transport, beaches, and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is also worth mentioning with an extensive spread of options to choose from.

Like many hotels, the air-conditioning might not be efficient enough in summers.

we booked 12 nights, due to a problem we mist the first 4 nights, the staff at reception kept stricly to the rules as there was no refunding.coming already for several years to this hotel they could have been easier going

Staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was very good. Beds were comfortable. Availability of computer in the lobby for internet use was very helpful for re-booking flights and trains given the train/plane cancellations caused by the strikes. Meant we didnt have to go out and search for an internet cafe to access the net. Not everyone carries a laptop/ I pad with them so having a computer to access on site was very useful!

The superior rooms were clean and comfortable but small. Could possibly be improved in terms of being re-decorated. Re decorating would render the rooms I stayed in more asthetically pleasing. Also sometimes the rooms were too warm at night. Air conditioning is too noisy when its put on as is leaving a window open. This is a general problem with most hotels, not just the Mercure!

Excellent WiFi, comfortable room, and a good location near everything we needed. We even got a room upgrade with extra amenities like an iHome and Nespresso machine. The rooftop solarium was a nice touch for relaxation. we had a lovely stay at Mercure.

No towel racks in bathroom. Portable fridge to use dumped in a corner on the floor. Plenty of coffee and tea but only two nimbles of latte.

Pleasant and stunningly beautiful hotel in Nice, MAGNIFICENT location near an enormous shopping mall. Based near to downtown, beach, old town, place Massena, train station, bus, the French Riviera and the touristy areas. Sensational breakfasts with Espresso. Early check in and late check out. Everything great.

The place was fabulous and had courteous staff with excellent multi lingual service and very helpful waiting staff, greatly enjoyed the stay.

The breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold foods. The location of the hotel was great, with many shops and restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the rooftop terrace with its beautiful views of the city.

The room was very small and felt cramped for two people. The decor was outdated and in need of renovation.
